Filming Throughout the Week

Throughout the week we filmed quite a bit during class. We have been quite organised with our filming this week and gotten everything done that we planned each time. We haven't been wasting time by messing around and setting up, like we did last week which is a lot better as we're using our time a lot more effectively.

I am really liking the style of our film, especially with the cool lighting and the harsh shadows; film noir is probably my favourite film style, as I have mentioned before. We have put together and started editing a few of the shots and so far it looks pretty good. The final is due on Monday, however, Mr Andrews has given us the exception of a few shots that we can film during test block then add in during our three hour period in test block on Tuesday, 15th. We have a few shots to go which is at the end where I shoot Jack (the character Peter), after he shoots Mr Andrews (Peter's father). We should get this all finished on Monday afternoon, leaving us with time to study during test block, rather than filming. I am so keen to get this film done and see what the final outcome looks like; I think it'll be one of my best films considering the amount of effort we have put into the planning, lighting and the cinematography.
