Feedback

Today in class, we received some overall feedback for our treatments:
- Indicate some cuts, fades or dissolves
- Mention a few shot types to indicate that you understand them
- Don't make the quotes in the synopsis too long, put the full quote in resources
- The shot list is very important
- Resources should include everything you're using: settings, props, people, statistics, videos files from other sources that are being used, any quotes, Video Scribe/PowToon if you're using it
- Justification  must include why that type and style specifically works for your documentary and why you have used those particular techniques
- Camera positioning is critical when filming the Voice of Authority

Mr Andrews also spoke to me about my draft specifically so I will be taking out some dialogue from my synopsis and adding in more visuals. I will also complete my shot list as soon as I can in order to work out if my film is actually 2-3 minutes worth or not because my synopsis makes it seem a bit short.

Today we also emailed the different figures we are hoping to interview in our documentary to see if they are available. We quickly received one reply from Professor Mark Pearson (Griffith University) who agrees to the interview and we await more responses.
